Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Nanjing University Join the WBBA

19 December 2025 — The World Broadband Association (WBBA) is pleased to announce that Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) and Nanjing University have officially joined the association. Their membership reflects strong alignment with WBBA’s mission to advance ICT innovation and support the high‑quality development of the global cloud-network-broadband ecosystem.
With the addition of these two prestigious institutions, the WBBA’s membership base has expanded to 220 organizations across nearly 50 countries and regions, further strengthening the association’s global reach and collaborative capacity.
About Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT)
BUPT is the first higher-education institution of posts and telecommunications in New China. A national key university under the Ministry of Education and co‑established with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, BUPT was selected under the national “211 Project” in 1998 and later included in the “985 Project Innovation Platform for Superior Disciplines” in 2011.
