WBBA Welcomes EFTS Group as New Member to Strengthen Global Efforts in Bridging the Digital Divide

The Member Success Specialist is a pivotal role dedicated to ensuring WBBA members achieve maximum value from their membership. By fostering strong relationships and prioritising member satisfaction, this role supports revenue retention and enhances the member experience through a blend of customer-centric innovation and proactive engagement strategies.

The World Broadband Association (WBBA) is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Community Manager to lead its member engagement initiatives. This role will focus on driving participation, delivering member value, and implementing impactful strategies that support WBBA's vision of becoming the leading global broadband community.

Sharing Success Stories and Solving Business Challenges: Our members are enthusiastic about sharing their success stories, empowering the WBBA community with new knowledge and technology insights. They presented solutions aimed at solving real business challenges, further underscoring the value of collaboration and shared learning within our community.

From November 11 to 13, WBBA Chairman Li Zhengmao attended the Ministerial Forum of the African Science and Technology Festival and met with Mr. John OMO, Secretary General of the African Telecommunications Union (ATU), Mr. Solly Malatsi, Minister of Communications and Digital Technology of South Africa, and Ms. Angela Wamola, Head of GSMA Sub-Saharan Africa. The parties conducted in-depth exchanges on topics such as investment and construction of broadband infrastructure in Africa and strengthening cooperation between WBBA and African countries.

The WBBA, a Geneva-based global nonprofit organization, plays a pivotal role in fostering cooperation among broadband operators, manufacturers, policymakers, and investors. With 128 members—including China Telecom, Huawei, Swisscom, and Nokia—the WBBA is dedicated to advancing cloud-network innovation, enhancing technical collaboration, and shaping the future of global broadband infrastructure.
